Farallon Patrol Log
The faithful PRBO Farallon Patrol volunteer their boats and expertise to keep our island
field station supplied. We appreciate all of their contributions. Listed below are the vessels
that sailed in summerÐfall 1996. BlitzenÕs run on 28 September was a special tour
for Friends of the Farallones (see photo in Northern Fur
Seals Return); nine guests had a first-hand introduction to island wildlife from PRBO
biologists, executive director Dan Evans, and board chair Ann Stone. Special thanks to
skipper Dick Spight for his hospitality aboard Blitzen.
Note: PRBO members will have the chance to bird on San Francisco Bay with our Farallon
Patrol on February 22.
