Paul is the Assistant Manager for Ecological Services in
the California/Nevada Operations Office (CNO), located in Sacramento, California.
Paul supervises all Endangered Species field offices in these two states and the Klamath Basin in Oregon.
Paul has a B.A. in Environmental Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz,
and a Ph.D. in Wildlife Biology from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities.
He has been with the USFWS for about 15 years, and he has worked as a field biologist
in Minnesota, California, Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, and Hawaii. Paul came to CNO three
and a half years ago from Hawaii, where he was Project Leader for the Pacific Islands
Office for four years. Prior to that, he worked as a biologist for the Oregon State
Office and the Region One office, both located in Portland, Oregon.
Paul has a wife and two sons, and he enjoys flyfishing.
