International Migratory Bird Day (IMBD) is celebrated by Wilson's Warblermany organizations and individuals every year. IMBD celebrates and brings attention to one of the most important and spectacular events in the Americas - bird migration.  Bird Day is celebrated in Canada, the United States, Mexico, Central and South America, and the Caribbean. The celebration events offered are great for families and often include bird walks, banding demonstrations, shade-grown coffee, and other bird events and information.

PRBO hosts mist-netting and bird-banding demonstrations as part of Marin County's National Park Service-coordinated IMBD Celebration at Muir Woods National Monument.

Muir Woods National Monument / Redwood Creek - May 12, 2012,  8 am - 2 pm. Bring your family and friends to celebrate International Migratory Bird Day with PRBO!
