DECEMBER
1 - HUMMINGBIRDS,WOODPECKERS,CORVIDS, PARADS and amphibians
8 - WADERS (sandpipers and plovers)
15 - WARBLERS, VIREOS and RAILS
29 - Perching Birds #2 …and reptiles

2011
JANUARY
5 - GULLS    (OH GREAT!!)
12 - Field Trip TBA

This ten-week course will cover many major bird families in California.  Sessions will be will be held at PRBO’s Petaluma headquarters www.prbo.org/cms/376 and will start at 9:30 am and end around 3:00 pm.  Each session will be half classroom and half field trip.  The classroom portion will begin at 0930 in the big conference room at PRBO’s Shollenberger office and will go roughly 3 hours.  There will be handouts and an illustrated lecture.  We will have lunch there then head off (by car or on foot) for a couple of hours birding, with the location to be announced.  Details to the meeting spot will be provided prior.  Bring a field lunch and dress for the weather!

Cost: $50 per class, $450 for all 10.*
*Please note - First priority will be given to people signing up for the entire course (all 10 classes).  If there is still room we will take sign ups for individual classes.
