PRBO Member Trip Cancellation Policy
Full refunds will be given to individuals that cancel at least 2 weeks prior to the trip date. No refunds available if a cancellation is made LESS THAN 2 weeks prior to trip date. If the cancellation is made less than 2 weeks prior to the trip date AND there is someone on the wait list that is able to take your space, 50% refund will be given. No refunds will be given if you are registered for a trip, but do not show up.
2010 Members Trip Schedule
RESCHEDULED to Saturday, May 15, 2010 Olema Valley Birdsong and Bolinas Shorebird Migration
9 am - 3 pm. Meet at 9 am in the upper parking lot at Bear Valley near the earthquake trailhead. The trailhead is near the restrooms at the northeast corner of the dirt parking lot across from the PRNS Bear Valley Visitor Center. You can reach the visitor center by taking Bear Valley Rd. off of Hwy 1 near the small puebla of Olema. Wear layered clothing, as the weather can change quickly near the coast. We will be stopping mid-day for lunch at Five Brooks Ranch, so plan to bring one along in addition to plenty of liquids, a sunhat, and sunscreen.

Sunday, June 6, 2010 Summering Waterbirds and Late Landbird Migrants on Outer Point Reyes
9 am - 3 pm. Meet at 9 am in the Drake's Beach parking lot, outer Point Reyes. Wear layered clothing, as it is often windy and foggy near the ocean. We will be stopping mid-day for lunch, so plan to bring one along in addition to plenty of liquids, a sunhat, and sunscreen.

Sunday, July 25, 2010 Early Fall Migration at Bodega Bay
9 am - 3 pm. Meet at the Doran Beach Regional Park parking lot at 9:00 am. Parking is $6.00. Take Hwy. 1 to the southern end of Bodega Bay. Drive ¼ mile past the kiosk to the parking area within the cypress trees. Restrooms are available at the parking lot. Bring a field lunch, plenty of liquids, and layered clothing for the day.

FULL September 11-13, 2010 "Annual" Mono County Weekend Outing
This trip will cover much of the Mono
Lake-southern White Mountains area. The trip will begin Saturday
morning and continue until 12 pm on Monday, Sept. 13, ending at
Bridgeport. More details to come.

FULL Sunday, September 26, 2010 Marin Headlands
9 am-3 pm. Late September is a fine time for birding the Marin Headlands. If the weather is right, a vigil on “Hawk Hill” can be excellent with many migrating raptors representing a nice variety of species. A larger percent of these will be adult birds compared with youngsters earlier in the season. If fogged out we'll bird other areas of the park. Meet at 9 AM at the footbridge across from the fire station near the beach-end of Rodeo Lagoon. We will finish around 3 PM somewhere in the headlands. Bring a field lunch, plenty of liquids, and a pack to carry it in. Dress for the weather and always bring a coat a hat and gloves for the unique coastal weather.

FULL Sunday, November 21, 2010 Moss Landing and Moonglow Dairy
9 am-3 pm. Bring plenty of liquids and layered clothing. Elkhorn slough is a magnificent wildlife-seeking destination. We will bird Moss Landing Harbor, adjacent Monterey Bay and view upper reaches of the slough from Moonglow…a birder-friendly dairy. Bring a field lunch or purchase a lunch at Phil’s Fish emporium, an adventure of its own. You can eat your field lunch at Phil's. We will check-out Zumdowski Pond before leaving for home. Meet at 9 AM at the end of Jetty Road at the dirt Sea Otter viewing lot “ west off Highway One ¼ mile north of the Elkhorn Slough Bridge. We will finish in the Moss Landing area by 3 PM.
